Best Market For Meekz To Date

Hi everyone well it finally happened after 6 months of hard work I had the best market ever.  Attending the Brisstyle Indie Twilight Markets at King George Square in the City on friday night has given me inspiration again and a renewed sense of pride in what Im creating.  With a great turn out on the night, a wonderful parade (which I myself missed out on due to the crouds that poured into my stall lol), over 100 stalls and the help of my wonderful mother who came to help out (thanks mum love you), I dont think this market could have gotten any better.  With the introduction of a few new pieces to brighten up my stall, most customers remarked at how unique my work was and how interesting it was.  I was blown out of the water by the response I recieved to my  hammer textured surgical steel studs. Such a simple concept of recycled aluminium or copper taken from past commissions, leftovers from my mother's kitchen splash back or from an old council sign, I must have sold around 25 pairs of studs I think. Luckily however, I had a few more in back up ready to assemble for last Saturdays market at Laidley. With these being such a hit and ive even got plans in the making for a few rings and necklaces with the same designs and textures to so stay tuned.
